Online Registration for this event has now closed. However, you can still register in person at LifePlan (527 E. Main Street, Niles) during office hours. LifePlan is open Thursday from 9-7 and Friday from 9-1. You can also register the morning of the race beginning at 8:00 am at Riverfront Park. The price for the race is now $30.

It's time for LifePlan's annual Hero Run 5K Race/Walk and 10K Race. Come out to downtown Niles dressed as your favorite superhero or as you are on April 13th for this competitive 5K and 10K. Support LifePlan by being a Hero for Life and help people in the surrounding communities with resources for relationships, pregnancies, and parenting. All proceeds are used by LifePlan to help people choose life and live a Hope-filled life.

NOTE: Race t-shirts are no longer available! However, all runners will have the opportunity to purchase a "Life" shirt after the race for the discounted price of $15.

Hero Run 10K:
- 10K information: 8:45am
- 10k Race start time: 9:00am
Hero Run/Walk 5K:
- 5K information: 8:45 am
- 5K race start time: 9:10 am
The 5K walk begins directly after the 5K Race.

The first place overall male and female finisher in both the 10K and 5K will receive a $150 gift certificate to Fleet Feet Sports in Mishawaka. Other prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each age category, as well as the best superhero costume. 

Both race events start and end at the beautiful Riverfront Amphitheater. The 10K will take you around Plym Park, through downtown Niles, and south along the scenic St. Joseph River onto Bond Street. It finishes on the trail along the river. The 5K is an abbreviated version of the 10K. Both have a hill after the first mile that’s a reminder that it’s never easy being a hero – but it’s worth the challenge.

Packet Pickup is at LifePlan (527 E. Main Street, Niles) on Thursday, April 11 from 5:00-7:00 pm and on April 12th from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Packets can also be picked up on the day of the race starting at 7:45 am at the amphitheater at RiverFront Park.
