Strides For Shelter 5K 2020

The Canopy Housing Foundation will be kicking off the summer by hosting our 5 th annual Strides for Shelter 5K on June 20, 2020. Since the inception of Strides for Shelter, the Foundation has given out $65,000 from the race proceeds to several worthy local beneficiaries.
The event will be held at McAlpine Park in Charlotte. In addition to the 5K Run/Walk, participants can enjoy a Fun Run around the pond and a Kids Zone area. Come enjoy the race (for a good cause), as well as food and entertainment.
Proceeds from the 2020 Strides for Shelter 5K Run / Walk will benefit Hope House Foundation. The Hope House Foundation’s mission is to provide transitional housing and supportive services to women and children who are experiencing homelessness in Mecklenburg County in order for them to procure long-term housing and self-sufficiency.
