Short review
The Freedom Flyer 5K presented by Greenville Track Club will take place at HAMPTON STATION at 8:30am on Memorial Day, May 31, 2021.
Note on Automatic Deferrals for the cancelled 2020 Freedom Flyer: If you were signed up for the 2020 race before September 10, 2020, we have already registered you for the 2021 event! Sorry, we don't allow transferring your free entry to another person or another GTC event. The shirt has changed, so if you would like to adjust your size choice from 2020, please log into your RunSignUp account, go to "My Races", choose 2021 Freedom Flyer, then pick from the choices in the top right of the screen to edit your shirt size.
The Freedom Flyer 5K course at Hampton Station uses the same course as the Big Kahuna Run. There is about 200' of total elevation gain. Come out and run the impressive gauntlet of American Flags placed along the course to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives serving our country and community. The race finishes in the canyon at Hampton Station. The entry fees are very affordable, making this race an easy choice for everyone, especially families!
Thank you for your service! ALL ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY PERSONNEL, POLICE, FIRE, AND FIRST RESPONDERS ARE ADMITTED FREE! Just send an email to Kerrie, using the contact page. Include your full name, military branch and rank. If you are not active military, provide details on your public service job description and employer.
