Short review
Fifth Annual Fort Gordon Army Ten-Miler Qualifier, a Ten-Mile Race Event, is designed to select the male and female Fort Gordon Representatives at the Army Ten-Miler Race in Washington D.C.
****COURSE CHANGE - Please refer to the course map tab at the top of the page for the new course. The entire course will be run around Barton Field. Two loops of the lower end for the 5K and 1 loop of the lower end + 3 loops of the entire field for the 10 Miler. *********** Participants will start on Rice Road, continue on a closed route throughout the cantonment area, down to Range Road and finish the race on Rice Road near the Outdoor Stage area on Barton Field.
Community and Fort Gordon support continues to request to participate in this Awareness Run.

Awards – Top 3 Overall (M/F) and Top 3 in Age Categories (M/F)
Finisher medals will be presented at the completion of the event. Selections will be made for the Fort Gordon Army Ten-Miler Team to those Active-Duty Service Members that will be stationed on Fort Gordon through October.
The event starting time is 0730.
Event Pricing:
10M Non-competitive participants and Children 17 & under: Free (not eligible for chip timing or awards)
10M Competitive participants: (includes chip timing and Awards)18 and over: $5 per participant
**17 & Under, if they choose to be timed, Free
All participants can purchase shirts during registration for $10-11 per shirt.
The 5K Run to Honor … Will be in support of the Fort Gordon Strong B.A.N.D.S program. (Balance- Activity- Nutrition- Determination- Strength) Army installations world-wide are banding together for the annual Strong B.A.N.D.S. campaign in recognition of “National Physical Fitness and Sports Month” during the month of May. ACS / S O S program will support this program with Strong B.A.N.D.S 5K and the "I Run to Honor..." program. Participants will be given Strong B.A.N.D.S. wristbands that symbolize the community's commitment to a healthier lifestyle and a BIB to fill in the name(s) they wish to run in honor of.

The 5K event starting time is 0730.
General Information:
– Packet Pick Up for both events will be on event morning from 6:15AM to 7:15AM
– All runs are open to the general public. Individuals who do not possess a Department of Defense (DoD) ID card will be permitted entrance onto the installation.
– All running organizations are invited and must be pre-registered for the event.
