Short review

You will love this Fall run in beautiful Northern Michigan.

You get to run the single track, ski slopes, and bike paths of Boyne Mountain. All races begin and end in the courtyard area, slope side from the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa, close to the Hemlock and Mountain Express lifts. All races will begin by climbing the "mountain" to the top of the Hemlock lift. From there the 25K and 10K will descend the mountain via single track to the bike/cart path. The 5K will traverse the top of the mountain and descend to the trails on the opposite side of Mountain Pass road, finishing back at the starting area. After hitting the bike/cart path the 10K and 25k will will loop around the mountain, through the golf course and past the historic barn to the trail adjacent to Mountain Pass road. From there the route will ascend the mountain once more. The 10K will return to the starting area via Miller Time to Ramshead to Boyneland. The 25K will descend the mountain via the bike trails to the trails on the opposite side of Mountain pass road. Then the 25K route will follow single track with a small pavement section (crossing a parking lot) back to the ski area to finish at the original starting area.

There are several route changes (improvements) for 2019!

Friday, October 4th: Packet pickup at the Trophy Room (Boyne Village) from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Saturday, October 5th: Packet pickup for all races from 9:00am to 20 minutes prior to race start. 10:00am: Mass Start! 2:00 to 6pm: Take your race bib into the Trophy Room for a free beer. 2:00 to 10pm: Enjoy the Skitober Fest brought to you by Boyne Mountain Resort (music, vendors, food, beer)!
