Short review
Have you been wanting to explore local trails but are worried about safety and well, aren't even sure where to go? This is your opportunity to learn and fall in love with trail running. Asheville offers a variety of trails close to home and most are within a short driving distance. So let's get together and go check them out!
Last Summer we introduced a Summer Trail Series for the first time and it was a hit... such a hit that we quickly realized we needed to offer TWO series this year! We decided to do a Spring AND Fall Trail Series.
Sign up for Sundays individually $10 each or register for ALL 5 runs for $50 and you'll receive a swag bag filled with goodies from our brand partners. Anyone that was part of our Summer '18 series will tell you just how awesome all the goodies were and you don't want to miss out!
Our goal is for you to learn a little something about the joys of trail running and to get a workout that fits YOUR pace and ability. Routes will be marked and supported by our Fleet Feet Coaches & Ambassadors. The routes will primarily be 4-6 mile loops, with the option of running a second loop if the mood strikes you or an out and back! Each workout will begin with a mini-info session starting promptly at 8:30 am followed by a group warm-up before hitting the trail. Arrive 15 minutes early for demo shoes/ products!
Several of our amazing vendor partners will be joining us throughout the series and bringing demo shoes, products, and nutrition to be put to the test!
All paces and experience levels welcome. Join us at 1 or all 5 trailhead locations and see what all the talk is about. You'll have the opportunity to try something a little different at each run; rain or shine we will see you there!
#1 Sunday, April 14th 8:30am - Bent Creek River Park 4-6 Miles (out and back) #2 Sunday, April 28th 8:30am - Rice Pinnacle Trailhead #3 Sunday, May 5th 8:30am - Folk Art Center #4 Saturday, May 11th 8:30am - Fleet Feet Asheville Mountains to Sea Trail This specific run of the series is unique! On is activating a Run Your Local Mountain Strava event and we thought what better way to share this with our community than to use it as part of this year's Spring Trail Series. On will be bringing the Cloudventure to demo and we will crush this 200M climb challenge, together. We'll have more information soon! #5 Sunday, May 26th 8:30am - Hard Times Trailhead
