The 12th Annual Firecracker 6 is set for July 4, 2021. Start the tradition, or continue yours joining us at Indiana's Largest 4th of July road race located in our beautiful capital city. Downtown Indy has played host to this event annually, and we are beyond excited to return to the live in person event for 2021. Firecracker 6 offers both a 6k, and a 6 Miler giving participants of all abilities a challenge to kick off their 4th of July. To assure a safe race with adjustments for COVID-19 safety we will host the 2021 Firecracker 6 at the beautiful White River State Park starting/finishing in Military Park and running/walking on surrounding streets, paved trails, and the Downtown Indy Canal. This area is a favorite for local runners/walkers, and showcases countless beautiful views along the river including some of our absolute favorite viewpoints of the city skyline. The race is conveniently located by several parking garages, the Indianapolis Zoo, Victory Field, Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg Museum, and of course it is one of the best viewpoints for evening firework celebrations.
