Short review

THIS RACE IS SOLD OUT PLEASE JOIN US NEXT YEAR!    Register for the waitlist for the 11:00 am wave.  If someone drops out of the race we will pull from the waitlist.   Love Wine?  Like Walking or Running?  This race is for you! 

Race Swag: All participants will receive a race t-shirt, souvenir wine glass, finisher medal and a free glass of wine (or soda for our under 21 runners) after the race!

Join us on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 for an exciting event that features the scenic views of Fiesta Winery, and the great Wine produced by locally owned by Fiesta Winery.  With registration options for all wine lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time!

Awards:  We are doing finisher medals for all participants so there are no age group medals, however we will have a race clock as you cross the finish line if you want to see your results.   This race will not be chip timed.

Packet Pickup:  We will hold packet pickup at the winery the night before the race on Friday, April 2nd between the hours of 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  We highly recommend and encourage participants to attend the packet pickup to avoid the lines on race day.  Fiesta Winery has a full kitchen and runners/walkers that pickup their packet on Friday will be able to redeem their drink ticket for a pour of wine and also get their souvenir wine glass at that time when they turn in their drink ticket.  If you can't make it that's okay you can pick up your packet before the race between 8:00am-9:00am for the 9:00 am wave or between 10:00-11:00am for the 11:00 am wave. 

SOCIAL DISTANCING UPDATE:   This race will feature the following guidelines to ensure safety for participants, volunteers, and event staff

Packet Pickup: Hosted at the Winery on Friday, April 2nd from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Email us in advance if you are picking up packets for a large group of runners
Two 5k run/walk Waves: 9:00 am 5k wave (SOLD OUT) and the 11:00 am 5k wave (SOLD OUT).  Both are limited to 300 participants to allow for appropriate social distancing with our facilities.
Wave Starts: The race clock will start at precisely 9:00 am and 11:00 am for each respective wave; however, we are encouraging a rolling open start with runners starting on their own between 10 minutes before the official start time to 10 minutes after the official start gun.  Our guy James from DJ MacDAWG will announce the official start time for runners over the P.A. system.  
Sanitizer: Sanitizer and sanitizing stations will be available throughout the winery.  We will provide disposable masks if anyone would like one.  

This race benefits Friends of Lampasas Animal Shelter.  100% of all additional donations support local charity Friends of Lampasas Animal Shelter (FLAS). FAQ's

Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate, but they will get a free soda instead of wine.
Is walking allowed?  Yes, absolutely! Are strollers allowed? Yes
Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.
