Join your friends for a refreshing, meaningful morning walk!
Together, let’s raise the money needed and make cancer screenings a reality for ALL
residents of Charlotte County. The entire proceeds of the walk are donated to the
Virginia B. Andes Clinic and the Englewood Community Care Clinic. This event is made possible by:
PROJECT DETECT.

Check-in begins at 7:30 am and the walk begins at 9 AM
Registration fee includes T-Shirt, Goodie Bag, and Snack.
Please stick around and join us for some festivities after the walk.

Project Detect was initiated in 2005 by the Riverwood Ladies Golf Association (RLGA)
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide early detection screenings for uninsured and underinsured women and men who are at risk of cancer in the Greater Charlotte County Florida area.

Additional information:
Project Detect is funded by the Riverwood Community of Port Charlotte and is facilitated by the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic and Englewood Community Care Clinic.
  
Since its inception, Project Detect has raised over $310,000.00.
 
100% of the funds donated were used to provide mammograms and diagnostics for uninsured and underinsured women and men in our local community. 
 
In 2018 we donated   $54,000 to Virginia B. Andes Clinic:
In 2018 we also donated $3,000 to Englewood Community Care Clinic.
