Freedom Run 5K 2020

Short review

Following the guidelines of state and local officials, the Freedom Run 5K at CambridgeSide will be postponed to a later date. We will work with city officials to explore alternative dates later this summer or fall.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this process.  Once a new date has been determined and plans are finalized, we will be back in touch. If a new date is not possible and the 2020 event needs to be canceled, you will have the option of applying your registration fee towards a future CambridgeSide event or receiving a refund.

 

The Freedom Run is a patriotic 5k race through the heart of East Cambridge & Inman Square on a flat and fast course. The race starts & finishes at CambridgeSide and is immediately followed by a festive roof deck party. Registration includes a short-sleeve technical t-shirt, 5 free parking, VIP perks for teams over 20 and post-race celebration on the roof deck at CambridgeSide featuring music, food and beverages.

Come back and shop, eat or both!VIP perks for teams over 20, including a semi-private area for celebrating, snacking and hydrating together.3 drink tickets for participants 21+ for use at our post-race celebration. 

Our post-race celebration is located on the roof deck of CambridgeSide with beverages and a plethora of other snacks and refreshments.

Guest tickets to the post-race celebration will be available for purchase starting on June 3rd, during bib pick up hours and on race morning.

VIP TEAMS:

For a team to qualify for the VIP experience, it needs to have a minimum of 20 members registered for the race.  

You can create your team or add yourself to one during registration.  If you are not sure if your team has already been created, use the Teams tab to find out.

AWARDS:

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers AND the top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following age divisions:
