Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k 2021

Short review

We regret to inform our runners that due to a recent spike in COVID cases, Michelin North America has canceled our “LIVE EVENT”  and will incorporate a VIRTUAL RACE.  The Edouard Michelin Memorial 5K VIRTUAL RACE will be conducted from Friday, August 20, 6:00 pm to Sunday, August 22, 11:59 pm.  

Michelins number one value is safety for employees, family, and the community. With more time allowance for social distancing, we will be able to hold our race in the safest way possible.

As we pivot to Virtual during this challenging time we will once again use the Racejoy app to track our results. 

This 5K run/walk can be done on the Michelin Course during the days of Aug 20-Aug 22nd.  You will receive an email from Racejoy giving you instructions on how to download and use the app to time yourself.     If not you can install it from your phone's App store.

One other note that will help with the race timing.  Please turn off your Wifi while timing yourself.

Note:  The course will be open Friday 6 pm - Sunday 11:59 pm.

5K out and back course along the rolling hills of Greenville County, SC.

Edouard Michelin Memorial 5k is open to anyone who is age 8 or above on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

This 5K run/walk will be virtual again for 2021.  It can be completed on the Michelin Course any time between 6 pm Friday, August 20, and 11:59 pm Sunday, August 22. 

You will receive an email from Racejoy giving you instructions on how to download and use the app to time yourself.  You can also install it from your phone's App store.  After downloading the app you will find the event (Just search Edouard Michelin Memorial 5K).

Note:  To help with accuracy you must turn off your Wifi while timing yourself.

Please be very careful out there as no roads will be closed during this time period.  Also remember to take a copy of the race course with you.
