Short review
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Eagle Chase 2020 Run will be switching to a Virtual Run!! With the switch to a Virtual Run we have decided to make this run FREE to register with the option to make a donation and/or become a Fundraiser to support 6:8's heroic efforts to support our community during this time. All the proceeds from the Eagle Chase has always supported our local non-profit 6:8. 6:8 is working to End Poverty by Inspiring and Equipping Families and our Community to Resolve Poverty and Thrive. During this time, 6:8, powered by the generosity of donors, is providing financial aid for families and individuals financially affected by the COVID-19 Crisis. Though 6:8 typically does not give out financial assistance, we are seeing a need in our community to do so for this crisis. Our motivation is that a financial boost during this time could prevent a downward spiral into poverty; give hope and continued stability. How does the Eagle Chase Virtual Run Work:
Step 1: Select which Run you would like to participate in and register for that race.
Step 2: Consider making a Donation to support 6:8's efforts.
Step 3: Create a fundraiser page and set a fundraising goal then invite your family and friends to support you in your training and running to help support 6:8's efforts and help even more people who are struggling in our community.
Step 4: Invite your friends and challenge them to join the fun and take on the Eagle Chase this year at: https://runsignup.com/Race/WI/SaukCity/EagleChaseFireontheRiver
Step 5: Train for your run and enjoy getting out and know that you are supporting your health and your community.
Step 6: During the weeks of June 20 - July 4, print your virtual race bib and head out for your run!! (You can run the marked route along the Great Sauk Bike Trail or anywhere you would like.)
Step 7: Then Submit your results to show in the leader-board, and post a picture of your fun to Facebook and Instagram using #EagleChase2020
Official Marked Route (This is optional - you can run anywhere)We will have all 5 runs (Eaglet 1/2mile, Eaglet 1mile, Eagle 5K, Eagle 10K, & Eagle Half-Marathon) marked during the 2 week period of June 20 - July 4.
