Greenspring Station Gallop 5-Miler and Fun Run 2020

Short review

Go for distance on the 5-Mile Gallop runner’s course or stride for health at your own pace on the approximately 1-Mile Derby Day Trot. Both courses are primarily flat and stroller-friendly. Runners will be timed with prizes awarded to overall male and female winners and for age groups.

 

We’re raising the stakes on fun and inviting all participants to wear their best derby hat!

 

All proceeds will benefit Johns Hopkins Medicine’s tripartite mission of education, patient care and research.   Both courses are primarily flat and stroller-friendly. Leashed dogs are permitted on the 1-Mile Trot only and strollers on the 5-Mile Gallop must be jogging strollers. Walkers are not permitted on the 5-miler course.  The Gallop 5 will be timed using state-of-the-art disposable RFID bib-chip technology for accuracy and quick results. You must properly wear your race bib pinned on the outside of your shirt to be timed. 7:00 a.m. through event end   Parking Free parking close to the start/finish line.   Age Groups/Divisions ~ EVERY RUNNER’S DREAM  PRIZE ~   Male and Female Divisions - First place in each age group will win a free 2-hour consultation session with trained Hopkins staff and is valued at $295. This includes running on a treadmill assessment, footwear evaluation, strength testing, and more!
