Welcome to the Upstate Ultra Trail Series brought to you by the South Carolina Ultra Marathon Club. We are proud to bring in a series of events that range in distance, terrain, and season! But each race will always posses the same energy and positive atmosphere from our staff, volunteers, and S.C.U.M. Runners. The runners will be able to park and camp right along the course for the duration of their run on Friday night and Saturday Night!

Each finisher will receive a finisher medal that will be branded with the race logo and custom lanyard. We will also publish our age group results that will coincide with our Race Series. To learn more about our race series and awards please visit our results page here: HERE   Address Runners will access Tryon International Equestrian Center at a NEW address that is located here: 2659 Sandy Plains Rd, Tryon, NC 28782   The Course Description Course Map HERE Elevation Per 5 Mile Loop - 400 The course consists of a 5 mile loop that has 400 feet of elevation per loop. Generally packed dirt, a small section of gravel and walking paths but mostly grass! The course will have a series of directional arrows that will be placed at all intersections. Please follow all directional arrows to stay on course. In the event that you make a wrong turn please backtrack to your original spot of confusion. Cutting the course (even if unintentionally will lead to a disqualification).  70% Packed Gravel 30% Trail   Aid Station There is one aid station at the start and finish line. There will be an assortment of pickles, soda, water, crackers, chips, and tailwind nutrition for our runners. We gladly accept aid station donations of food items that you like to see at races. Our staff is very busy with course marking, timing, packet pickup, and communication with runners, that it does make it hard to prepare some amazing tasty treats in-between laps so feel free to contribute a little slice of heaven if you can! Thank you   Camping and Personal Aid Station Camping is open for participants and crew members/spectators. During registration you will have an option to select a primitive camping spot. No water, no power, but plenty of space to spread out along the course and right next to the course! Drop Bags can be placed at the start/finish line area.  Please label your drop bag with your name and BIB number. This ensures that your drop bag is at the finish line ready for you as soon as you finish.    Eco-Standard In an effort to be good stewards to mother nature we will not have any of the following items at ANY of our events. This is in an effort to reduce the carbon footprint being placed by endurance events throughout the world. Please have a cup or hydration bottle if you will need to consume water/nutrition during the event. Please bring your own fork/spoon for any post race meals.
