CRRC Mardi Gras Mambo Bus trip 2024

Short review

This is our annual bus trip to Baton Rouge for the Mardi Gras Mambo 10k and 15k. You must be a current CRRC member to ride the bus. If you are running, you must register for the race separately, THIS IS ONLY FOR THE BUS. You do not have to be registered for the race to ride the bus. We will depart from Corner Bar on Johnston at 6 am and return sometime around 1-2 pm. (Please arrive in time for a 6am departure) The bus will have a restroom and we will provide food, drinks, and entertainment on the trip. We will have your race packet for you on the bus as long as you are registered by the Wednesday before the race (April 14).

We will have specially designed t-shirts for all bus riders. REGISTER BY APRIL 1, 2021 TO BE GUARANTEED YOUR SIZE. If you register after this date you WILL get a shirt, but your size may no longer be available.

This year will look a little different in regards to safety precautions. We are asking that if you at all feel sick (fever, cough, chills, etc.) or have recently been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 that you please refrain from traveling on the bus. Masks will be required to ride the bus and can be removed for eating and drinking. Everyone's temperature will be checked prior to boarding the bus. We want this trip to be fun and safe for everyone, please help to do your part in making this happen. We greatly appreciate it!
