Coventry Woods Challenge 5K and 10k Trail Race Series presented by The RUNegades. Sunday May 16, 2021
Trail racing at its best! Great trails in a beautiful setting AND the 10K is part of the USATF Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Series. The loop course will be a mix of rock, roots, single and double track. Plenty of ascents and descents for all to enjoy. These trails are super fun!
Starting Times
Due to covid, we will offer rolling start times. Both races are chip-timed, so your time will not begin until you cross the starting line with your bib.
10K: start between 8:00 and 8:30 am
5K: start between 8:30 and 9:00 am
Age Groups and Awards
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Male & Female
Awards will be given to the overall Male and Female in both races. Awards will also be given to the top three in each age group for both races.
Cost
5K: $30 until 4/5, $35 4/5 to 5/15, $40 race day
10K: $40 until 4/5, $45 4/5 to 5/15, $50 race day
T-shirts
Race T-shirts are available for all those who pre-register by 4/28.
Covid-19 Precautions:
Contactless hydration station
Participants will be required to wear face coverings and maintain proper social distancing protocols in common areas
Face coverings are optional on-course.
Bib Pickup:
Bib Pickup and day-of registration will open at 7 am on race day at the pavilion near the starting area.
Camping is not available at Coventry Woods Park.
