Hearts In Motion 2021 We are excited to be bringing the NEW race route over to Compassionate Heart Ministries for 2021! Join us on Thursday, April 22nd at Compassionate Heart Ministries for our Flamingo Fun Run and/or 5k walk/run event! Or, join in on the virtual race! :)  Who We Are Compassionate Heart Ministries is a fun, Christ-centered, and safe place for people ages 14 to 35 with mild to moderate disabilities to come, hang out, and make friends! Donations Compassionate Heart Ministries values any and all donations as we are a nonprofit organization that relies on community support.  In-Person event location: Compassionate Heart Ministries 404 Centerstone Court Zeeland, MI 49464 Will the event be timed? We are excited to have Ignite Your Event timing company helping us this year! The 5k route will be chip timed. The Flamingo Fun Run will not be timed, however, fun runners will receive a race bib. What Is a virtual run? A virtual race essentially means registered racers have from now until April 22 to choose a day to run or walk their own fun run or 5k, route. This is a great way to spend some time outside while at home! The beauty behind a virtual race is that YOU can choose the location of which you will run or walk! Simply map out a mile or 5K  route and get to walking or running. You choose the time and the place! Virtual runners will receive a shirt as long as they register on or before April 5, 2021 by 11:59PM. This event will not be timed. You may time your own virtual experience.  Packet pick-up info: Wednesday, April 21st from 4PM - 7PM at Compassionate Heart Ministries (404 Centerstone Court, Zeeland, MI 49464). This is for any registered participant to pick up race stuff! *If you are participating in one of our virtual events, this is the day to stop by and grab your shirt! :) Race day check-in begins at 4:30PM (another chance to grab packet).  Do I get a shirt? Yes! If you sign up on or before April 5 you will receive a shirt. :) Register by April 5th by 11:59PM to guarantee your race shirt. Participants that register after April 5th are not guaranteed a shirt. Our race shirts are long sleeve, cotton shirts. The shirt size runs a bit tighter. They are a slim fit style. If you like to have extra space in your shirt, then we encourage going up in a size. What are the age group divisions? Fun Run Route: Top three finishers will receive an award. The 5K Route awards will be given in these age divisions to the top 2 finishers in both male & female categories: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74. There will also be 1 overall finisher award to both male & female.  Are pets allowed on the course? No. For the safety of all runners & walkers, we ask that you do not bring your dog(s) or other pet(s). Is the route USATF certified? No. We have done our best to map out a 3.1 mile 5k route and a 1.1 mile fun run route; however, it might not be exact. Oops! I selected the wrong race route OR t-shirt size! Can I change it? Yes!
