Short review
Only 25 miles from downtown Atlanta, Cochran Mill Park is located in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. Here you will see over 800 acres of woods, fields, streams, waterfalls, huge boulders, rock outcrops, wildflowers, mountain laurel, wildlife, and three historic mills. This hidden gem is fantastic. We invite you to come race with us, experience the beauty, and enjoy your own adventure. We have two races distances so there is something for everyone!

The 13.1 miler:
The Fall edition of our race has a few changes. We’ve moved it up to October, eliminated the muddy horse path leading to the field AND reversed both course.
You will begin at 8:30 am on a gravel road then enter the woods to begin your journey. Runners will start on the Yellow Wall Loop find a few more hills but also a lot more of the beautiful scenery the park has to offer. You will cross the famous Henry Mill Falls then start a slow climb through a moderately challenging and technical Red loop. We will bring you back over the falls where you will complete the Yellow loop, run the Cedar Branch Trail, then back to the field where we started.
There is a medal for all 13.1 mile finishers.
We will bring you back over the falls where you will complete the Yellow loop to the flat finish and back to the field where we started.
