Short review
Only 25 miles from downtown Atlanta, Cochran Mill Park is located in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. Here you will see over 800 acres of woods, fields, streams, waterfalls, huge boulders, rock outcrops, wildflowers, mountain laurel, wildlife, and three historic mills. We invite you to come race with us, experience the beauty, and enjoy your own adventure. We have two races distances so there is something for everyone!

The 25k:
You will begin at 8:00am in the grassy field where you park then enter the woods onto a flat to rolling Yellow loop. Once you reach the first stream, you will find a few more hills but also a lot more of the beautiful scenery the park has to offer. You will cross the famous Henry Mill Falls where you will get your feet wet a bit, then start a slow climb through a moderately challenging Red loop. We will bring you back over the falls where you will complete the Yellow loop to the flat finish and back to the field where we started. You will hit all the trails on that side of the park, plus a couple many of you have not seen prior to race day!
Note: There will be two aid stations and you will hit the first once twice. With a 4 or so mile gap between aid stations, we recommend bringing a hand-held or hydration pack if you feel you need more fluids. Aid stations will have water and Tailwind Nutrition, with some Huma gels on the second aid station for the 25k.
25k finishers earn their finisher's medal!

The 14k:
We will start with the 25k and cover the same route until the trail splits at the famous "Falls". You will finish the Yellow Loop, then take the same rolling trail back to the field where you will finish.
Note: There will be one aid station that you pass twice. With a 3 or so mile gap between the passes, we recommend bringing a hand-held or hydration pack if you feel you need more fluids. The aid station will have water and Tailwind Nutrition.
