Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland 5k 2023

Short review

This year we are offering two ways to participate in the CITY DOGS Cleveland 5k. You can register to run or walk in-person at Edgewater Park Kite Field or virtually anywhere you choose. Everyone is encouraged to post using #CITYDOGSrunCLE. PRE-EVENT REGISTRATION CLOSES ON JUNE 12 at noon! Shirt sizes are not guaranteed after June 4.

The in-person event at Edgewater is for humans only, participants are welcome to run with their dog virtually.

RACE DAY TIMELINE
8 a.m. - Packet Pick Up/Day of Registration
9 a.m. - Event begins, 5k immediately followed by 1 mile
9:45 a.m. - Approximate time for top finisher announcements and medal presentation

Registration costs:
$35 until June 4 at noon
$40 June 4 – 13 (including race day)
Registration is open online until June 12 at 12 p.m.
Race day registration is available.

WHAT DOES THE RACE SUPPORT?

All donations go to Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland who provide financial assistance for the animals at Cleveland Animal Care and Control, which includes daily enrichment opportunities, medical care and supporting the CITY DOGS adoption and volunteer programs.

There are individual and team fundraising goals to help us reach our overall fundraising goal of $15,000! Below is each goal and what fun Friends of CITY DOGS-branded swag each fundraiser will get as a thank you. Prizes will be shipped/available for pick up post-race. Individual Fundraisers:
$1,000 Goal - Foldable picnic blanket, 6-pack soft cooler, Koozie
$500 Goal - 6-pack soft cooler, Koozie
$250 Goal - Koozie

Team Fundraisers:
There is a minimum of $1,500 to raise for each team of a maximum of five members. The top team will get five 6-pack coolers and a $250 valued prize. Each team that raises $1,500 will also get the coolers!
