The 2020 Cardinal Cross Country Series is CANCELED

Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Cardinal Cross Country Series has been canceled. Thank you to all who have participated in the past to make this a great event. Our plan is to pick back up with the series in the summer of 2021. Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Tuesday nights this summer are going to be awesome! Join Columbus Running Company and Otterbein University for this summer's hottest events, the Cardinal Cross Country Series.

Held on Otterbein's cross country course, we'll get you out on the grass for some summer evening fun. Young athletes will have an opportunity to compete in their favorite sport during the offseason, and the adults will have a unique opportunity to join in the fun, too. All ages are welcome to these events.

As with 2019, we are still going to have the start/finish on the east side of the property, on the Otterbein practice football field, just across West St/Africa Rd from Cryan Veterinary Hospital (please do not park here). Also, there will be slight changes to both race distances from what we ran last year. All youth participants will be running a 1.5-Mile route, and all adult participants will be running a 5K distance for all 2020 series events. We'll start each evening with a youth 1.5-Mile race (must be 13 or younger to participate) at 6:30 pm and conclude with the adult open 5K at 7:00 pm.
