Trail racing is still alive folks! I’m happy to offer three flexible racing options for my awesome Buck Ridge Burners this year! For Covid19 Considerations, see below.
Public registration for unclaimed and remaining spots will open on Feb 7th. Until that time, only deferred registrants will be able to register.
OPTION 1: IN-PERSON RACE-DAY RACES!
Our 2021 IN-PERSON events will send you out into the woods of the Michaux State Forest to test your trail grit on one of two challenging courses. What better way to shake out those winter legs than to leap over logs and splash through April creeks? Come play in the woods with us and feed your soul!
We'll be taking all the precautions to make sure your IN-PERSON racing experience is as safe and socially-distanced as possible, including a 1-hour start difference between the Half and the 5K and wave starts for each race.
OPTION 2: ON-COURSE VIRTUAL EVENT
A little shy of crowds during this time but still wanna get on that sweet Buck Ridge Burn course? I’m offering a post-live event VIRTUAL option! I will be leaving a fair percentage of the course markings up for a week after the race to allow you to run the course and earn your awesome BRB swag and coaster. I cannot guarantee that angry people won't steal course markings while I'm sleeping at home, so turn sheets and gps files will also be provided. Test your trail navigation skills and get to know the Michaux more intimately! There will be a limited number of registrations for this On-site Virtual event, so if you want it, GET IT!
OPTION 3: RUN ANY TRAIL VIRTUAL EVENT
Don’t want to or can’t travel to the Michaux for the event? Want your sister in California to race with you from across the country? Find a favorite trail course by you and submit your virtual results to earn your BRB swag and be a part of our awesome BRB community!! Again, there will be a limited amount of registrations for this option, so sign up early!
