Blue Bell Fun Run 2024

Short review

In April 2022, if all is right with the world, we will host our wonderful event in Brenham as usual AND give you the option to run virtually. If it's an option to run the beautiful course here in Brenham, you can! If it's not, you can still run the race virtually - ANYWHERE in the world - the week of March 28 through April 2. Or if you want to run virtually no matter what, you can do that too!

It’s fun for kids and adults, novice and expert alike with individual events in both the 5K and 10K as well as a Kids’ 1-Mile Run for those 12 and under athletes. And for those that desire an even greater challenge, sign up for the Half-Marathon

Every runner gets some Blue Bell ice cream at the race or for the virtual runner, a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell, a participant t-shirt, and a collectible participant medal. Half marathon participants will receive an additional 13.1 t-shirt.

Started in 1978, this race began to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic program and did so for many years. Today, the run serves a broader community by fostering the physical health of and instilling good character in the youth of Washington County. Run for the Youth of Washington County sponsors events like the Blue Bell Fun Run, and conducts and provides charitable and other non-profit programs and activities in Washington County. Brenham High School athletes serve as volunteers for the race.

Family/Group Discount: Families with 4 or more members will receive $5 off for each participant. Participants must be registered in one transaction to receive the discount.
