APPOA St. Paddy's Virtual Run 2020

Short review

Hello runners,

The APPOA St. Paddy's Day Race is going virtual!! It took a little time to figure out how to hold this event. In our hearts we wanted to hold it in person, but as you are all aware safety is our first priority, so to keep everyone in their best health the race has now become a virtual event. Runners have from 12:00 am October 23 until 11:59 pm on October 25th to complete a 5K run. Maybe you are a trail runner, or prefer the pounding of the pavement beneath your feet. Some of you might be the long distance runner, where a 5K is your warm-up. Then there is those who might want to make this their first 5K accomplishment. Whomever you are, and whatever way you want to run, we appreciate that you stuck with us and we have no doubt that you can accomplish this run. We hope to plan another race in the future, once life gets back to a "new normal." We as members of the Ayer Police Patrol Officers Association want to thank all of our participants for being so patient while we decided how to proceed safely with the run.
