"Alpenfest 2021" New beginnings! Take an exciting walk or run through the amazing Alpine village!   Event Details 5K Run/walk Thank you all so much for continuing to support the Alpenfest festival and run. It is clear that this year is not the same as the rest and your continued patients is greatly appreciated. Even without the 10k and the 1 mile fun run this year, we hope that everyone can come out and enjoy the race. Come and run a PR or come out and take a nice stroll to get the steps in. For this year the packet pick up will be the day before at the information tent in the Alpenfest plaza at 4:30pm-6:30pmSame day registration will happen in the parking lot where the race is to happen. If there is inclement weather, we will take shelter under the pavilion, but are encouraged to try and stay in the event starting area.The run starts in the Court/First street parking lot and everyone will run down court street and take the route leading all the way into Aspen park. Go into aspen park and there will be an aid station and that is the turn around. Run/Walk the scenic route back the same way you came to the finish line. For next years race (2022), anyone interested in Volunteering, please contact the race director at mrinck2@mhc.net. We love our volunteers and could use many more to continue to make this race amazing for years to come.  Schedule Run starts at 9am July 17th 2021.  Registration  Sing up online with runsignup (Signup early to be sure to receive a medal. Medal quantities are limited).  Late registration Morning of registration will be from 8am till 830am.
