Short review

6K4WATER is a 6K run/walk to raise money for WATERMISSION.org who dig wells for third world communities.   

Our first year, we raised over $5,000 for water mission.org.  Last year, our sponsors very generously donated their gifts to watermission in spite of us not being able to hold the race.  Check out our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/6K4water-105131557642435/?modal=admin_todo_tour and plan to join us again on April 24 of 2021.

2.1 billion people lack access to safe water and many women must walk 6 kilometers every day just to gain access to the unsafe water they are able to find.  

842,000 people die every year globally due to inadequate drinking water, sanitation and hygiene -  that's one person every 37 seconds.  

That's approx 2,300 per day.
