The 41st Annual Chambersburg Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Chambersburg Area Middle School South (CAMS), located on 1151 East McKinley Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201, at 8:30 a.m. The course is bucolic, with beautiful rolling hills and pastoral settings. The start and finish is at the middle school. The course is well attended with hydration stations and committed half marathon staff. The course closes at 11:30 a.m. so it is a good idea to maintain at least an 11:33 minute per mile pace. There will be no refunds in the event of weather cancellation or any other reason. Prizes include $300, $200, and $100 top 3 finishes in the open category, $100, $75, and $50 in the masters category. $100 will be awarded to anyone who can break the course record of 1:08 set by Steve Spence in 2001.
Race day registration and packet pick-up will take place from 7:00 - 8:15 a.m. at the school. Long sleeve gender specific shirts are available for $15 extra. URL: http:www.chambersburghalf.org
