4th annual Veterans Day Classic 3 Miler presented by AT&T Veterans ERG CT/NE 2020

Short review

                     Join us for our 4th annual salute to our Veterans - Veterans Day Weekend! We invite you to run or walk at the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs complex in Rocky Hill CT. We have chosen 3 miles - a true American Distance. The looping course features a scenic viewpoint when you get to the top campus. We encourage all abilities to join us!  Great shirts and swag will be given out but make sure you pre-register in time to guarantee sizing. Net proceeds raised will be donated to AT&T Veterans ERG of CT/New England, Connecticut Veterans Base Camp and Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs that will support veterans outreach programs throughout Connecticut and New England.   *The 3 mile distance race and 3 mile walk event will be timed. *The One mile walk event is not timed. (note- the one mile walk is the FIRST loop of the 3 mile course) *A long sleeve shirt will be given to all entrants pre-registered by Nov 1 (then, as available) *Post-race refreshments include bagels, bananas, snacks and fluids.
*Plenty of parking will be available in lots, designated areas, (no parking on the race course).

*A FREE Kids’ event- "Young Patriots" scamper offers a non-competitive, 1/4 mile distance for kids 6th grade & under only. *A shorter distance for any very little tykes - weather permitting. All kids receive a finisher medal! SPONSOR & PARTNER OPPORTUNITIES

Runners & walkers - $27 for ages 19 & over; $18 for ages 18 & under *Online Registration ends November 4 at 8pm There is no registration available on Nov 6.
Race Day Registration Saturday, Nov 7, 2019 from 7:30-8:45 am:  $30 for ages 19 & over; $20 for ages 18 & under  Please bring exact cash or check. Shirts for race day sign up may not be available. Please try to pre-register. EVENT SCHEDULE
Saturday, Nov 7, 2019 7:30 am -  Shirt & bib - late registration with cash/check only, available if events aren't at capacity,
8:30 am - "Young Patriots" scamper - free for kids 6th grade and under 8:40 am - Opening ceremonies, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Flag raising
9:00 am - 3-miler Run/Walk race start
9:30 am - Post-race party snacks and fluids 10:00am- Awards
