3rd Annual Healthy Parks Healthy People 5K and Kids' Run 2019

As part of its Healthy Parks, Healthy People: Truckee Meadows initiative, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, in partnership with Washoe County, is proud to present their Healthy Parks Healthy People 5K Fun Run/Walk and FREE Kids' Obstacle Course Fun Run at Ranch San Rafael Regional Park. Run proceeds will benefit the Student Stewards Summer Camp of the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, a local, private nonprofit committed to raising awareness, appreciation, and stewardship of Reno and Sparks parks.

The 5K (3.1 miles) Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. Directly following the 5K at 10:00 a.m., is a FREE Kids' Obstacle Course Fun Run for children 12 and under.

Through April 6th, run registration is $25.00. After April 6th, registration is $30.00. The Kids' Fun Run is free, but parents must pre-register their children on this page.

Registration fee includes a T-shirt! (T-shirts are not guaranteed for participants who register after April 6th, 2019).

***Packet pick-up will be Thursday & Friday, April 12th from 4:30PM - 6PM at Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation (50 Cowan Dr, Reno, across from the California Building in Idlewild Park). You can also pick up on Saturday morning at the 5K, but be sure you get your bib on well before 9!
