Join us as we team up with the community to run 3 MILES FOR FREE SMILES! Our 5K Run is an event that brings awareness and raises funds to aid in the repair of cleft lips and palates. We, as a community, can make a life saving difference in a child's life. The proceeds will go to the local LSU Foundation and Shriner's Hospital for maxillofacial surgeries specifically to repair cleft lips and palates. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Come out and show your support because.... ALL SMILES MATTER!
Early Bird Registration through Feb. 9, 2019 is: $20.00. Feb. 10, 2019 - Feb. 28, 2019 is: $25.00. Late registration is $30.00 February 26th, 2019 through race day morning. (No shirt guarantee to late registrations).
Phantom Running Division- If you cannot be there you can still show your support!! Sign-up as a Phantom Runner and you will get a t-shirt and race packet without breaking a sweat.
Team Challenge- Register and include your team name to be part of the group challenge. A minimum of 3 athletes per group is required to enter as a team. Top 3 times of a team will be averaged. Winning group will receive a team trophy for the team Challenge.
T-Shirts and Packet pickup: You may pick up your packet Thursday March 7, 2019 from 12:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday March 8th 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at Run Wild Shreveport (9462 Ellerbe Road, Suite 140, Shreveport, LA 71106) located in the Forbing Center. Packets will also be available starting at 7:00 am at race site on race day.
Awards: Overall Male/Female in the 5K will receive a medal. First place Male/Female in each Age Group will also receive a medal.
Age Groups: 11-Under, 12-14,15-19,20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60 and over
Post Party: Join us after the race for refreshments provided by our generous sponsors!!
Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicles will be allowed on the course, but at a walking pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This is a RRCA regulation.
