Let's celebrate a return to running with our in-person A Midsummer Night's Run 5K!
The Bluegrass Sports Commission is proud to present the A Midsummer Night's Run, presented by CHI Saint Joseph Health. This year's race is a live, in-person race in downtown Lexington scheduled for Saturday, August 14th, at 7:30pm. We are providing a virtual participant option for those who can't (or choose not to) join us in person. Additionally the Fastest Kid In Town Kids Races (Ages 2-12) will be held at 6pm.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE (Saturday, August 14, 2021)
4:30PM --- Packet Pickup Opens (Packet Pickup Tent on Courthouse Plaza Lawn5:45PM --- Fastest Kid In Town Meeting with Parents/Kids (Corner of Limestone & Short Streets)6:00PM --- Fastest Kid in Town Races (Ages 2-12)6:00PM --- West Sixth Brewing Beer Garden Open7:15PM --- Dynamic Warm Up (Thanks OrangeTheory Fitness Trainers)7:20PM --- Brief Pre-Race Program7:30PM --- A Midsummer Night's Run 5K START8:00PM --- Awards Tent Open (For pickup of Age Group Awards (Top 3 M/F in each 5 year division)8:15PM --- Awards Presented to Top 3 Male & Female Overall winnersWe've been given approval from the City of Lexington to conduct a full capacity race with a normal "Big Race" start! Masks will not be required for the race.

PACKET PICKUP We are providing you the opportunity to pickup your packet over 2 days (14 hours). All local runners/walkers should pickup their packet during this time. Thursday, August 12th from 12noon-7pm Fleet Feet Lexington at The Summit at Fritz Farm (4084 Finn Way Suite 140, Lexington, KY 40517) WIN A FREE PAIR OF RUNNING SHOES ($125-150 value) ---Shoes to be raffled off to a lucky winner of everyone who picks up on Thursday at Fleet Feet.
Friday, August 13th from 12noon-7pm Paul Miller Ford (975 E New Circle Rd, Lexington, KY 40505)
We will also have packet pickup specifically for our out of town participants on Saturday, August 14th from 4:30-7pm at the Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza in Downtown Lexington.
5K AWARDS Awards will be presented to the Top 3 M/F Overall finishers and Top 3 M/F in the following Age Groups (0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, & 80+)
