21st Annual Pet Fest & Walk for Animals 2020

Short review

The Pet Fest and Walk for Animals is an annual event orchestrated by the 501(c)3 non-profit, the New Bedford Coalition for Animals.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with 100% of the profits going to support our diverse programs that benefit the health and well being of animals in our community.  A South Coast tradition, this event is in its 21st year running, and is attended by upwards of 600 people and 400 dogs.  The day includes a two mile fundraising walk, over 50 vendors, and interactive demonstrations in the center ring.  The event gets bigger and better every year!

We need your help to raise funds to help injured, sick, homeless, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community! This is a fun-filled day for people and their animals to come and join us for a 2-mile fundraising walk around beautiful Buttonwood Park, as well as enjoy lots of entertainment. Animal lovers without dogs are also welcome!

Attendance to check out the vendors and entertainment in the center ring is FREE (but be sure to bring some cash for food and wares!).

There is a $15 registration fee for each person participating in the fundraising walk, but please help us raise as much as you can by asking friends, family, coworkers and neighbors to sponsor you for the Walk for Animals.  Maximize your fundraising impact by creating an online fundraising page when you register online here that can be shared to help you raise money.  It's easy and free!  100% of the funds raised are used to support our variety of programs that benefit local animals and our community. In-person registration will be held between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

The Walk will begin at 12:00 pm with a Blessing of the Animals.
