WE'VE GONE VIRTUAL!!!   MSH Foundation Virtual St. Ignace Rock & Run 10K and 5k

Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 and governmental guidelines, the Mackinac Straits Health Foundation is making a change to this year’s St. Ignace Rock & Run. Instead of having the large gathering at our familiar spot in downtown St. Ignace, we will be conducting a virtual event!

A virtual event will allow participants to take part from any location. It could be your backyard, a nearby trail, on your treadmill inside your home, or even from another state!  We just want to remind you to remember the rules about social distancing.

You can sign up for a 10-K Run, or the 5-K Run/Walk. We will still be providing everyone with a specially designed t-shirt and a cool medal to the first 250 registered!  

Participants are being asked to complete their event between 8:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, and 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, and then post results on our “Virtual St. Ignace Rock & Run” Facebook page, as well as all your social media profiles and hashtag #stignacerocknrun.

All proceeds from the 2020 St. Ignace Rock & Run will be dedicated to a special fund designed to assist the staff at Mackinac Straits Hospital with necessary supplies and personal protection equipment needed to keep them and their patients safe.
