Due to COVID-19, Newnan's Lake 15k will be a little different this year. Please read below for important changes. PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED - There will be no registration the day of the event, so you must pre-register. There is a 200 Participant Cap Face coverings are required for all Volunteers and Runners. Runners may remove their face covering after the first turn out of the park, but must wear them pre-race and in the start corral. There will be no Packet Pick-Up at the race. We will have Packet Pick-Up available for the entire week leading up to the race at Lloyd Clarke Sports.This year we will not have age group or awards, or the awards ceremony, but we will have a commemorative item for all finishers, and will have Gift Certificates for Top 3 Male and Female runners.This is a Chip Timed race. Runners will start in waves, keeping with social distancing guidelines, but individual timing starts at the cross of the Start/Finish line. We will have on course hydration in the form of water and Gatorade. Cups will be pre-filled and ready for pick-up, but runners will have to grab them from tables. In lieu of post-race refreshments under the pavilions, we will have pre-prepared grab bags filled with post race goodies for finishers. The Newnan's Lake 15k begins and ends at Earl P. Powers Park (boat ramp) on Newnan's Lake off Hawthorne Road. The course follows flat, fast roads along picturesque Newnan's Lake. The Newnan's Lake 15k is one of the prettiest 15k races in the state, with nearly perfect racing weather every year. Expect some great times here! There will be three water stops along the way stocked with water and Gatorade.
