20th Annual Chilly Chippewa 5k (In Person!) 2021

Short review

This is the 20th annual running of the event.

Run/walk will take place on Saturday, April 10, 9:00am, at Chi Hi (start/finish is at the parking lot near Dorais Field)There is no cost to participate this year - no pre-registration (just show up at about 8:45, stretch a bit, and run/walk when the gun goes off)We aren't giving t-shirts this year, but will have a special prize for the first 100 finishers as they cross the finish line. We will also not be tabulating finish results; there will be a finish line clock, and the course will be marked as usual.There also isn't any chili (arghh) - all efforts to remain outside are being made. Face coverings are required all all times except for during the actual race (we are following the same safety procedures that were used successfully during the cross country season last fall)Our National English Honor Society will be collecting paperback (new or used) book donations - the books will be given to the Chippewa County jail for adult inmates to readCash donations will be accepted for a future tribute being planned in Warren Bowe's name (Warren was the former advisor of NEHS - wasn't a runner at all but was an athlete in his younger days!)
