General Information
Join us for this great family event. For the past two years Endurance Magazine has select this race as the best ‘kid-friendly’ race in the Triangle. There will be a 5k race with chip-timing on a certified course. Also planned are a One Mile Fun Run/Walk and a Toddler Trot for the little ones. All participants in the One Mile event receive a medal. After the race visit our remarkable refreshment table that will provide water, fruit, cookies, snacks, candy, granola bars and tasty home-made baked goods. After the award ceremony there will be a drawing for prizes. Child care will be provided while parents run the 5K. The race will be held rain or shine. No refunds. Proceeds from the event go for grit awards, special student recognitions, mini-scholarships and to purchase reading and writing journals for Orange County students. Be sure to register by May 20 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
